Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale won a modeling competition in Perth aged 18 years old. After several years of modeling Gale was noticed when she was commissioned in 1999 for a role in a number of commercials for an Italian company in the field of telecomm, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) and she was featured in the advertisement of the company up to 2006. The Australian Tourist Commission also hired Gale in 2003 as"The Face of Australia "face of Australia" for Italy. Gale made the cover of Australian Marie Claire Grazia Gioia Italian Maxim Australian InStyle, Australian Marie Claire, Italian GQ and Australian GQ and was also featured in Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan editorials. Gale is a runway performer for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Marani and Angelo Marani as well as Gianfranco ferre, Genny & Gai Matiolo. Gale is also an avid huge fan of numerous Australian designers including Colette dinnigan, Kirrily johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Gale was the fashion editor for the Australian television awards in the year 2006 (the Logies). In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from modeling on runways after 15 years. She took to the catwalk one last time just weeks later at an David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. She donned the Wonder Woman costume she had been planning to wear for her role in the Justice League of America film, which was still in development. In March of this year, Gale returned to the runway, and she closed Alex Perry's 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th birthday with department store David Jones, the longest -running fashion contract held in Australia. In the same month, Gale was named ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, joining Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. Gale starred in a L'Oreal Shampoo commercial, which aired in Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
